How Freshii Sundance Got Started
Freshii Sundance is owned and operated by Ravi Sekhon, who opened this location in September 2015. He started it for a simple reason: when he looked around SE Calgary, he couldn’t find a place serving food he felt good about. No fryers. No preservatives. Just fresh ingredients made into real meals.
Ravi also saw people being left out. There were very few good choices — often none — for people who eat halal, for vegetarians, for vegans, or for parents who wanted a healthy meal their kids would actually eat. He opened Freshii Sundance to give all of those neighbours a real option, made fresh every day.
Ten years later, that’s still the whole point: fast, fresh, honest food for everyone in our community.
